The Maestro™-GS22 USB-inSync™ Master Timing Hub provides the ultimate in precision distributed timing for USB-inSync™ devices. The -GS22 hub can distribute nanosecond synchronized, frequency accurate clocks to each attached device with precision clock frequency control.
The device also has the capability to lock its local precision oscillator to an external reference clock. This allows multiple PCs to now operate synchronous USB-inSync™ environments - sharing a common clock. Now for the first time, a synchronous USB network is not limited to the 480Mb/s bandwidth or 127 device channel count of just one USB port or PC.
The Maestro™-GS22 goes one step further. It is able to utilize a GPS time server as the external clock source AND to synchronise to the GPS server's absolute time-stamp - anywhere on the planet. So any two USB-inSync™ systems can be synchronised to absolute GPS time, anywhere.
And like all Maestro™ series hubs, the -GS22 operates at full bandwidth in a mixed USB1.1/USB2.0 environment. For unlimited multi-PC channel count and synchronous device distribution, the Maestro™-GS22 provides all the answers.
